Extend the structure of the site by way of content models, data storage, field types, and navigation, so it is more understandable to users.

Google Client Geocoder

Since the previous maintainer abandoned this project, I'm the new maintainer. --Bdragon

A Google Client Geocoder based package, which allows you to:

  • Use a Google client geocoder enabled, xAL - Extensible Address Language compliant address field in your forms (by gcg).
  • Add addresses to your nodes and display the address either on a static or dynamic Google Map (by gcg_node).
  • Automatically categorize the content by location (by gcg_taxonomy).

The package depends on the Country codes API and requires a Google Maps API Key.

Node revision reference

Defines a field type Node revision reference which creates a relationship to a specific node revision.

Taxonomy Delegate

This module allows an administrator with "administer taxonomy" permission to delegate the administration of a vocabulary to a non-admin role.

The role to which this authority has been delegated may add, modify, and delete terms from a vocabulary. They may, not however, modify the vocabulary itself, nor may they create new vocabularies.

Given that Forums are controlled by a vocabulary, one might give the ability to control them to someone who has no other administrative rights. They can then change the "containers" (parent terms) and forums (child terms). Other popular modules that are vocabulary driven are Image Gallery and Glossary, so they are functions that can be easily delegated. There are many ways in which this module can help.

Block Term

BlockTerm lets you specify taxonomy terms to show this block on. When you visit a page where the node is tagged with one of these terms, the block will show, otherwise it won't.

Comment alter taxonomy

This module will allow you to change the taxonomy terms associated with a node from a comment on that node.

Menu Breadcrumb

Uses the current page's location in the site menus to generate a breadcrumb showing the menu items which lead to that page.
