Removed from issue summary as it is now a distraction: #2323963: [D7] Put "List" "Roles" and "Permissions" as top-level items. Simple cosmetic fix. Fabianx does not agree with this simple fix and would like to see more work towards a better fix.

Added to Important Fixes #2877131: [D7] CSS aggregation strips some essential whitespace within strings Patch in comment #15 still applies, re-roll of #8 which was RTBC, has test coverage, passes tests, fixed in D8.

Added as important fix, #2418755: Path alias filter by system path includes 6 year old patch for D7 in comment #1 that has been RTBC and without the patch "it's very hard to find alias which contains few slashes in path."

Added #2783153: [D7] Convert drupalSettings from JavaScript to JSON, to allow for CSP in the future FabianX said it looks good, needed test update, and looks to be done.
and #2891346: tableheader.js: Source: call to eval() or related function blocked by CSP Another content-security-policy issue.

@mcdruid and @FabianX, I'm amazed by all the stuff you've been doing on these issues. Didn't want you to miss knowing about these :-)
Thanks.

Updated issue summary. Added #2492191: Remove "Crawl-delay" in robots.txt Simple fix. For parity with D8/9 this should probably be committed to D7 although taking this out of D7 now seems like a big change at such a late stage; users who want to change Crawl-delay will already have done this. The patch itself is trivial so marking RTBC for a D7 core committer to decide whether to commit or close this.

Draft release notes for 7.81 which should go out today:

Changes since 7.80:

We'll need to check and list all the CRs, and this release changes .htaccess, web.config and default.settings.php which needs to be mentioned.

Also uploading a noop patch to run all tests before I finalise the CHANGELOG and tag the release.

3x CRs:

I would also like a CR for the testing improvements; specifically these 2 issues:

...where I think both could probably be covered by a single CR.

mcdruid’s picture

Combined CR for those testing issues: https://www.drupal.org/node/3216913

Also noticed a couple of typos in the run-test script's help text along the way which I've fixed.

https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/releases/7.81 is now published.

I added another CR for the brotli compression issue as that's a change to .htaccess

If anyone spots any problems, let us know.

We could update the IS for this issue to move the relevant issues to the "done" list.

Then we'll close this, and start thinking about the next release, which is currently scheduled for 2021-12-01 :)
