Serials Solutions provides institutional access to to e-journals and e-books. Participating members also have access to the raw data that populates tools such as the Serials Solutions Journal Portal. Serials Solutions uses the LCC headers from the call numbers courtesy of Columbia University - and this gives our patrons a general taxonomy for viewing our content. In our world, however, it is often useful to apply discipline specific vocabularies to content. This set of feature modules helps facilitate that while maintaining consistent linkage.
Sample use case: Our nursing liaison wants to apply a new taxonomy to our content. Her patrons may not be familiar with LCC terms or there may be clearer wording specific to their field. By importing the SS data we are able to act on it using custom taxonomies. New lists of resources are made by our librarian staff. Additionally the links are maintained up to date - a consistent challenge in a field where resource providers are often buying and selling to the various resources thus changing the URL.
We looked at tools such as LibGuides, however they do not allow us to continually ingest information from SS - thus it was possible for links to become out dated unless a librarian manually updated the LibGuides data.

This module allows GitHub to communicate with the Drupal application whenever a repository is pushed to. It does this by providing a configurable webhook URL that GitHub service hooks can issue POST requests to. The GitHub WebHook Endpoint module doesn't provide any reactions to the events, however it invokes hooks that developers and other modules can implement in order to take the appropriate action.
After installation, visit admin/config/services/github-webhook as a user with the Administer site configuration permission. This page will allow you to configure the path to the webhook endpoint and an optional security token. After configuring the endpoint, add it as a WebHook URL in the repository's settings on GitHub. Refer to the Post-Receive Hooks documentation on GitHub for more details.
