Still on Drupal 7? Security support for Drupal 7 ended on 5 January 2025. Please visit our Drupal 7 End of Life resources page to review all of your options.
Gathers data about the modules and themes installed on a Drupal site and sends them to a corresponding server. As you are (hopefully) monitoring the status of the site from the server, optionally you can disable the 'There are security updates pending for your site' shown on the admin pages also.
Update status aggregator server
Receives data from clients and stores the data in the database and processes it to compute the latest updates available for the modules and themes. The data is exposed to views, so you can process it in almost any way you like.
Currently the module doesn't ship with any default views, but that will change soon!
Requirements
Services module for the server component/site only
Drupal 5 version
Update status aggregator is comprised of two components: a "client" module and a "server" module.
The client (update_status_notifier.module), to be enabled on all sites that are to report to the central tracker, sends a list of installed modules and their status to the tracking site via xmlrpc when cron is run. This information is taken from the update status module.
The Deploy module is designed to allow users to easily stage and preview content for a Drupal site. Deploy automatically manages dependencies between entities (like node references). It is designed to have a rich API which can be easily extended to be used in a variety of content staging situations.
Complex websites and web applications can be created by combining configurations of Modules, Content Types (CCK,) Views, Panels, Menus, Blocks, Categories, Roles / Permissions, etc. This site setup and configuration process is a very time consuming and repetitive bottleneck.
Patterns module is built to bypass this bottleneck by managing and automating site configuration. Site configuration is stored in XML or YAML (requires SPYC YAML parser, which needs to be downloaded separately from http://code.google.com/p/spyc/) called Patterns which are easy to read, modify, manage, & share and can be executed manually or as a part of an automated web site deployment.
This module was meant as a proof of concept and has been abandoned. Drupal 7 has vertical tabs out of the box (huzzah!), while the Vertical Tabs module provides vertical tabs for Drupal 6.
This module enables granular publish and unpublish permissions which allows you to grant roles on your site the ability to publish or unpublish specific content types without having to give them the administer content permissions. This is a lightweight solution to managing your content workflows.
