Supporting two databases

Im want to build a site that has two databases for two separate types of members. Each database needs to be searchable by the members of the other database. It would require two seperate logins. Similar to a dating web site for or housesitting eg. www.happyhousesitters.com.au . Is this possible using Drupal? How? What modules would I require? ANy assistance to point me in the right direction would be great.

Should I use Oracle for database and Is Drupal stable alongside Oracle?

Hi,

I'm starting a new project and I'm planning to implement it based on Drupal framework. The project, after running, will have a huge amount of content creations, most of them play the role of logging. and there is need of keeping all of them in the sake of usage and financial reports.

So I considered if I face reliability problems with MySQL when data grown. Though I'm using a dedicated server I have no limit on resources.

Then, should I (and do you recommend) using Oracle in sake of reliability and is it stable enough with Drupal7?

D7: pages only for authenticated users

Hi!

I am working on a website for a small non-profit organization.

One or more pages should be visible only for authenticated users.

Is this possible with Drupal 7 right now?

Drupal 7 Core doesn't seem to support this.
Module Content Access is in Dev status.
Is there a suitable module which is mature enough?

Best regards
Gerald

Multi-site, multi-domain and multi-language

For a client we need to build an extended website which basically contains different top level domains. Each top lever domain should have it's own page tree and each tree should have it's own languages.

For example:
The first tree would be an all English website and another tree would have different content and should have Dutch and French content because it's a Belgian website.

Is this possible with Drupal 7? To build multiple websites in one instance of Drupal with different trees which can have one or more languages per tree.
