Hello,
I am interested in creating a site for a medium sized homeowners association (HOA), and am trying to see if a CMS is suitable. I've gone into detail about my requirements on this page: http://burkecentre.referata.com/wiki/HOA_Software
Things like a calendar, booking system, document repository, knowledge management (FAQ/wiki/forums), all seem to be handled by Drupal. There are at least two parts however which don't seem to be readily available:
I've been using Drupal for some basic site projects, but have a more ambitious endeavor I wish to embark on. I'm sure there's a way to do what I want in Drupal, but I know it's going to take a fair bit of work to make it happen.
I don't want to give the exact theme of this project away, but I'll try to explain it the best I can otherwise:
I am planning to create a directory, i.e. where the submitted links by users are NOT static pages rather they are rss feeds links, as in www.feedage.com or www.feedagg.com . I am currently using a modded version of the Esyndicat software at www.feed.it but would much rather prefer to switch to a more sophisticated structure like Drupal so I can add community-style features.
Can any one tell me if I can use drupal for a non web application?Ok what is the example.Do blocks, modules.themes etc describe the structure of drupal suite.
I'm doing my first drupal site, I was curious if its possible to pull content directly from my content type fields. Without using blocks/views. Using a query of some sort and formatting the data myself.
Hello All,
I want to develop a website in drupal 7. I am new; only one month learning experience. I will be displaying contents in that website, mostly images using lightbox2 in slideshow mode. I want to use translation because I want to translate all pages in French as well from default English language.
