Hi everybody! I need suggestions...

I'm planning to build a site which allows users to create their own blog (with a subdomain) and manage it (after the subscription)

I'll be the superadmin.

Each blog has some fixed features (ie: ads decided by me), plus other features the blog creator can choose from (ie: themes, etc...).
They'll also be able to associate their own domain to the new created blog (they'll pay for it).

Each blog creator will be able to buy other (paid) premium features to apply to his blog.

I just started learning Drupal. My idea is to make a site where people can have their own personal online logbook. If I am lucky up to 30.000 people might find this useful and use my service. This means 30.000 people making one logentry per day during many years. Is Drupal the best sollution for this? What is the limit? And more specific, should one log-entry be a node in Drupal?

My idea also incude an Iphone app and an android app to syncronize with the online logbook. I really want to do this right from the beginning so any ideas and suggestions are welcome !!

A bit about me: My coding knowledge is limited. Im currently on a web design course which is teaching me the basics of html and creating sites using dreamweaver in css and html.

Could you please list out event registration modules for Drupal 7. (Both Free and Paid Modules). I have gone through modules but most of those are not compatible with Drupal 7.
