drupalmt

This script is purely to manage my own development environment and I am fully aware of drush; but for me this just seems to fit my needs a lot better.

Online Bidding Project

Online Bidding or specifically called "BidMo.ph" is a one step forward risk for us, students of IETI Alabang. BidMo.ph is an Online Bidding website which is users can buy and the same time sell items by their own costs. Bidding starts at the minimum price users sets and when the price reach the Time Limit or the ceiling price of the item the person who bids the last buys the item. Our website covers only the bidding part, other than that the users are their own.

Address Field Static Map

Generated using the address field.

This module can generate either of the 3 following as a block when placed on a content type that has an address field:

As of beta5, you can also just use this module's built-in field formatters if you do not need block-level elements and want just your address field to be rendered as a map.

Usage:

  • No API key needed for Google Static Maps, but you do need one for Mapquest.
  • Go to /admin/config/system/addressfield_staticmap and select the address fields that should be used to populate this block.
  • Make the block visible on the content types with those fields.
  • To use KML overlay files with the regular Google map, create a file upload field on your content type that only accepts .kml files.
  • Go to /admin/config/system/addressfield_staticmap and select the KML file field for the appropriate content type(s) and save.

Whammy Bar

The Whammy Bar in use for users at Zujava.com

The Whammy Bar is a curated Wordpress style menu for non-developer Drupal site maintainers, editors, and users. The goal of the Whammy Bar is to provide a professional and simple menu that is designed to make Drupal easier to use.

FAQ

Why not Admin Menu?
Admin Menu is an outstanding module that provides a slick menu to access all of Drupal's configuration sections. It's great for Drupal superusers. But it's a bit daunting for the less Drupal savvy. The goal of Whammy Bar is to design a menu for the non-superuser.

Is it done yet?
Nope! This is a very basic version that I think effectively shows what I'm trying to do, but is by no means feature complete.

Why doesn't Whammy Bar use a Drupal menu?
This might be something we do in the future, but for now, we want to ensure simplicity and curation at the module level.

Will there be a Drupal 6 version?
I have no plans, but welcome patches.

Feature Roadmap

Whammy Bar is by no means complete. Some ideas for future features:

  • Better styling/visual design
  • An alternative light version
  • Custom menu items complete
  • Cross-browser support/testing/degradation
