Before you start

i am trying to set up drupal to run with FUDForum. after reading this thread http://fudforum.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=165455&&srch=Drupal#msg_1... i decided to download version 6. unfortunatel none of the download links seem to work.
can someone point me in the right direction please

I am a newbie at Drupal. I just chose Drupal for my CMS and I willbe using a Drupal template that I paid for to help ease the learning curve. Drupal is installed on my host server and I am ready to upload the template. (almost) What I want to know is, how do I test and edit the template before uploading to my host server and going live? Thanks for any help you can on getting me started.

1. A person with his own set of properties
2. A disease with its own set of properties
3. Couple one or several diseases to a person, with an own set of properties (e.g. period)

So I would have something like: person A has had disease X at time K and disease Y at time L.

Hi everyone,

I am lost in Drupal 6 that I've installed and used for years now ... even had v5 before, but never got Drupal to do all I need.

Here is what I would like to do :

1. Personal Blog with simple user registration (no confirmation by mail needed, but captcha when registering). My family members aren't geeks...

2. Newsletter : I just want my folks to know when I post a new message or new pictures. Finally had to create a miling list on my Yahoo account. Cron system is horrible on IIS and Windows Server.

3. Bilingual : my website needs to be in french and spanish. I translate every message I post, but I wouldn't like that my spanish folks comments would only be visible from them. My french folks should comment along my messages with them...

4. Image gallery : I have thousands pics online, but I want people to log on my blog to avoid any pervert from taking children pictures from me or having them indexed by Google image. I use JAlbum Desktop version today to have a really simple way of posting and organizing galleries (sub levels, videos, etc.). I also have comments enabled on every single image, automated slideshow, with simple navigation. flat html pages are generated by this software on a subfolder of drupal arborescence. I'd like a more integrated gallery keeping the simple way of using it (posting files that are auto indexed).

I am a beginner for the drupal environment. I know the basic of creating a content, block, and getting those using views.
I would like to create a new website in drupal. What i need to do for that. Is there any reference for that?
