Courier Delivery Site?

Hello,

I hope I don't get slammed for this but I'm going to ask anyway. Also, not sure if this goes in the General Conversation area but this area seems fine. So, here goes...

I need to build a courier service site. I see a lot of modules for hotel rental and such, but this won't be rental by day, week, etc., it will instead require a pick-up location and a destination and a time/date, and then a fee calculation. If someone does need something for hours, that will be an option as well. I need to have different users/vendors input their vehicles and pricing. Then the user simply comes to the site and searches for what he wants. I've seen some nice forms on hotel rental modules, but again, I need the destination stuff. Also, I need invoicing, email, and admin control over users and vendors. I will need some other goodies as well, so I want to start off in the best way possible for expansion later.

Can you do the following, and how easy is it and whats the cost?

Hi, I am wanting to set up a two type member system and an admin for approvals.

So effectively 3 database tables member1, member2, admin

I want member1/2 to be able to post profile information, and admin to apoprove there profiles before publishing.

I want member 1/2 to pay membership fees or free trial membership.

I want the profiles to be configuarable and seaerchable by given fields, and different for member1/2

I want to be able to upload photo's and videos to be hosted locally or remotley and be able to charge a fee for the hosting of files.

Spider Technology Behind Video Aggregators like SideReel.com?

Can someone explain to me the aggregation technology behind sites like SideReel?

For example http://www.sidereel.com/the_nine_lives_of_chloe_king/season-1/episode-3/...

Did they make a spider that automatically fetch the embed links from video owners website like Hulu? Or did they submit all the video links manually?

Is this possible with Drupal, or how hard would it be?

I have a very specific goal and I'm trying to find the best way to accomplish this goal.

Reviews site with Drupal

Hello all,
After a small search on this website, and toying a little with the 7.x drupal (on a local server), I'm seeking advice with drupal. I want to build a reviews site, and for security reasons, I choose not to implement my website on my own (my skills are too low to produce a sufficiently secure website, and my wallet tending to be small, I cannot afford to give the coding part to a professional developer), and so to go for a CMS. From what I can see Drupal seems really robust, extremely powerful and approachable with my (relatively moderate) coding skills.
Here is what I have in mind:
something quite usual for a reviews website, i.e. a given number of criteria, for which I give a note (say, on a scale of 5, for example using the fivestar module), and a list of pros and cons (I'm wanting to review musical instruments btw). That, I believe, is quite manageable with a basic knowledge of drupal (which I suppose I have), but I would also like any user to write a simple comment on the article, and to give them access to the same criteria with the same pros and cons, and to make automatically on the article page an average of the users' review beside the so-called author review. That is a bit harder, and I think it reaches the limits of my drupal knowledge...
