I used to do Typo3 sites a lot and decided to try out Drupal but I'm missing out the fce's (flexible content elements) of templavoila (an extension for easy-templating).
Basically what I'm using it for is to create 'containers' or boxes or 2-column content where you can insert or drag&drop contents inside it. This is extremely useful for clients who do not know html.
Recently i am creating forum at drupal. Each time when i add forum it's getting slower. After i added 100 forum, everytime when i try to add it'll take almost 1 minute to create new forum. Anyone have solution for this one.
I'm looking for a field type for Drupal 7 that will allow a user to enter an address when creating a new node, have a google map update to that address, then drag the marker to tweak the location.
I've seen something like this for D6 but I would prefer to create the site using Drupal 7.
Any ideas?
I am considering drupal for a proposed site. Amongst other things the site needs to offer documents for download (eg pdfs etc) only to logged-in members, does elgg support download management control of this nature? Thanks.
