I have created an vocabulary in taxonomy. In that i have added terms. When i am adding terms i am unable to select Parent Items And select hierarchy options. How can i fix this issue?

Hi ! We are building a bookmarking based/social publishing website along the lines of delicious. What we primarily need is a robust system where users can post content that they discover onto various predefined categories. Other features include users' ability to login into Facebook to post content, recommend and like stuff, share etc along with standard popular posts, comments etc.

Having evaluated a few systems, I figure Drupal is an excellent choice for this application. My questions are :

can i do all this with durpal. because i know i can buy the sites of some guy, but then i dont have the knowledge (and im poor) of how the system works, so i can make more homepages if i wish...

I am currently looking to replace a wiki on my site with a CMS-run sub-site. I initially was going to use Joomla, but the apparent lack of parent-child relationships for pages was a turn off. The CMS we have at work is OpenText Solutions RedDot, which has it's issues, but is overall quite good. Every page is a child of another page, you can make make new pages while linking to them, and other sorts of things that let you propagate a site on the fly.
