Hi,
I need to charge people a small fee (probably through PayPal or offering a form for card details) each time that they post a new node. What would you recommend is the optimal framework (or combination of modules) for this??? I know that there is Ubercart and eCommerce modules -- but I don't want the end users to see all those "Add to cart" and "Quantiny - 1" , "Remove from Cart" things because it does not offer a seemless experience.
I'm applying to a Communications Manager position that requests familiarity with Drupal. I have some experience with web content but none with Drupal, and I'd like to have enough training under my belt to at least be able to know what I'm talking about in an interview.
I am having a web application developed in struts, spring-hibernate. I want to develop pages(static pages like articles etc ..) in a drupal CMS and post them directly onto my site. Also i want to know how can i be able to start forum and blogs for my application. Does drupal help me with requirement. I need your expertise to help me with this.
I am looking at various types of CMS' and am wondering if Drupal can do the following:
Have 4 main categories and within those 4 categories there are different Types of Post.
For example, categories could be Fruit, Vegetable and Meat and within those categories the Types of Post could be Soup, Baked, Grilled. Types of Post can fall under more than 1 category. So if I posted chicken and mushroom soup in the Soup post type, it will fall under the Meat and Vegetable category.
I'm looking for a CMS that will enable us to have some pages where users can register for some event. Also we need some basic discussion module where ppl can - well discuss things.
Can Drupal do these things? If yes any particular modules I should focus on?
