Custom review

Usecase: let's imagine you want to create some specific tools to allow your users reviewing some nodes (for instance a CCK-audio review, a CCK-text review, a complex-type-CCK review, ...). Let's also imagine you want them to review specific (ie, an admin can set that before) CCK-node types, then you've got it, it's basically what custom review is about.

Some vocabulary :

  • the reviewer: the CCK-node type seen as a tool set by an admin to allow users reviewing specific other CCK-node-types
  • the reviewee: the CCK-node type seen as the type one can review with a specific reviewer
  • the review: an instance of reviewer (like an advanced comment if you want)
  • the (node) reviewed: an instance of reviewee (the node the user has been reviewing)

It allows only one review by person and by reviewer type on each node. So it's neither
a tool to make comments nore supercomments, but real nodes associated in a specific way to an original one. These reviews are usually seen from the original reviewed node.

Green-n-Black

CSS-based (tableless) theme tested in all major browsers, including IE6 (IE6 bugs are fixed with pngFix and separate stylesheet file). XHTML valid.

The theme is not overloaded by complex code constructs, it's clean yet powerful and contains several custom regions. The region in sub-header ideally suits textual Views Sideshow block.

Main features:

Acta

Acta

The Acta theme is a one or two column fixed width table-less design. Acta incorporates css sprites for instant and seamless background image changes. Acta is fully XHTML compliant and has been tested in IE6, IE7, FireFox 2, and Safari 3 beta.

The name Acta means "beach" in Latin. The Acta theme attempts to capture the essence of "the beach" through a mixture of soft tones of sky and ocean blues with the warm earth tones of sandy tans. This mixture of cool and warm colors makes for a delightful environment for some serious web surfing!

jQuery Impromptu

jQuery Impromptu is an extension designed to help provide a more pleasant way to spontaneously prompt a user for input. More or less this is a great replacement for an alert, prompt, and confirm. Not only does it replace these but it also allows for creating forms within these controls. This is not intended to be a modal replacement, just a quick tool to prompt user input in a fashionable way.

This module simply places jQuery Impromptu in a central location with one command that can be called from any module that wants to use the library.

A module should simply call:

jquery_impromptu_add(); // css and js

The module takes no arguments and returns no value, but it will include the javascript in the page header.

Dependencies:

  • For Drupal 5.x:jQuery Update (jquery_update.module)
  • For all Drupal versions: The JQuery Impromptu library is released under the Apache 2.0 License, which is
GNU/GPL version 3 compatible, but not version 2 compatible. So, it must be
downloaded separately from the author's website:

Block Refresh

Block Refresh allows an administrator to configure a block to refresh it's content via 3 different methods: automatically via a timer (eg every 30 seconds) , manually via a 'refresh' link, and once on page load.
