I have a problem i hope you can help me with.

I have been making a website with wamp local server, that means with no password and root as user name when i installed the site.

Now i want to, upload it to my web server.
First af all, i exported the database from the local phpmyadmin as a sql. file.
And i did import that to my webserver.

Then i use my ftp program, to transfer the directory of my localsite, to the directory at my webhost.

I'm looking a good VPS hosting for my Drupal 7 site.
It's not very big site with this modules:

I am a newbie to drupal. I have read a post for installing drupal on 1and1 hosting, however it is well out-of-date and does not apply.

Here is my issue, I have downloaded a Drupal Template and want to install it on my new domain. I keep getting the following error when accessing my domain

Forbidden - You don't have permission to access / on this server. - Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Here is what I have done so far:

- Downloaded template and extracted it. Now I have two folders one called template xxxx which contains a sites and screenshots file and few others including the zipped sources file for the downloaded template (Lets call this F1). The second folder I have is the extracted sources file contains system.install, psd, clip-art etc.(Lets call this F2).

- I went to my domain on 1and1 and created a MySQL database. (Please note: I have another domain with 1and1 and this also has a separate MySQL database.)

- After this I went to MyWebSpaceExplorer on 1and1 and created a new root folder and called it Drupal and uploaded file F1. The Drupal folder has two folders in there now a _MACOSX folder and a Drupal-7.10 folder. (NOTE: I am using a MACOSX.)

I've got a Drupal install running on my server, and it keeps tripping my Mod_Security rules and therefore I keep getting locked out of my own server!
(My own fault really ;) Getting too worried out security!)

I was just wondering if there was something I could change in Drupal, or a change I could make on the server or in the Drupal files (I've got full access to the server).

I was created a website with drupal6. I upload my website to server ubuntu 10.04, it work fine. when i upload it in to server Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at Port 80. My home page loads perfectly fine, but when I click on a link (any link for that matter!) I get the page not found error:
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at mypage.org Port 80.
How do i fix this problem?

So I've been learning how to create a website and Drupal for a month on my laptop. Now, I would like to test and see how things actually work on a live server. Do you have any recommend hosting that's not expensive? Can I use the cheapest plan most company offer or do I actually need a vps plan for the LiteCommerce to work? I'm looking at some basic plan from godaddy, a2hosting, and ewd. Would any of these be ok? I don't have much knowledge on web hosting or server.
