We're experiencing an issue with our apc module, which is to do with the server configuration rather than anything in cacherouter etc., but hope there are some Linux/APC gurus out there.
They support only Drupal 6
but they also do not allow any ".make" files, ".sh" scripts, and others...
also they have PHP Safe Mode enabled!! That's been deprecated since PHP6!
Anyway, total waste of time.
It is free, though.
I have installed drupal 7 and recognize that when you visit a page on the site the webservers cpu is like 70%-80% when the page is loading in? I have tuned my mysql config to work better with innodb. I have installed APC but I havn't really configured it. I have also installed xhprof but I doesnt really understand the result of the xhprof?
And as you probably understand, the website isn't loading quickly. In fact it is really slow. Any tips on how i can improve the cpu load and loading time on the website would be nice!
I have drupal 6.22 site in my testing server which works fine. Now i have moved this site to live server i have configured everything correctly but i am getting Fatal Error " Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 52 bytes) in /includes/cache.inc " .
I have sucessfully uploaded everything from localmachine to testing server but cant for live serve.
Can any one help me out to solve this problem.
I recently uploaded my website to 000webhost.com after near completion of the site. I am having a major issue with what seems to be my sites CSS. You can see what I mean if you visit http://studyguide.webege.com
I made a basic account on the site if you wish to possibly see more as you need to be authenticated to view the site.
I inherited 2 sites that need to be moved to a new host and I have negligible Drupal experience. I backed up the database from the current (legacy) host, downloaded the files, created a new database and imported the SQL file, uploaded the files, and have modified the site/default/settings.php and .htaccess files to get it as far as I can, but the graphics are still using incorrect links (and hence not showing up) and the links are broken for the same reason. Here's a couple of specific examples of graphics on the current site (hosted on the legacy server), missing graphics with the links the site attempts to find and where they really are (on the new host):
