This is a forum for helping users host their Drupal site.

Good hosting with lots of space

Currently I pay under $10 monthly and get 5,000 megs and more gigs of bandhwidth then I could possibly need. This also includes unlimited databases, unlimited subdomains and parked domains, and 20 add-on domains. All with Cpanel control at http://hostony.com. However, the downtime is not great and my sites run incredibly slow, http://giveorange.org is one example. I thought Gzip was in use and could speed this up, but no luck.

So, what host providers are REALLY Drupal friendly?

All,

So I have a client or two who has seen my Drupal site (http://www.warrenernst.com/) and they want one for themselves. I run mine from my own server, but obviously, these folks would need a host provider.

ANyone use ipowerweb.com for their hosting of a Drupal site? & an .htaccess question

Does anyone use www.ipowerweb.com for their web hosting? I'm getting ready to try and install Drupal on my server hosted by them. Unfortuantely, I don't have telnet access so I have to do the SQL stuff via their web interface.

Who do you guys host with?

I'm using 1and1 right now but I can't seem to get clean urls working. I don't think they offer support for this feature so i would need that, obviously mysql and php, ftp and some email addresses. I'm not sure what I would need for space (database space and web space), this is my first project with mysql so any suggestions would be appreciated.
