Looking for a fast, reliable webhoster

I've been surfing the web for a fast, reliable webserver. I took a look at there posts: http://drupal.org/node/19674, http://drupal.org/node/11736, http://drupal.org/node/20803, along with a couple of others.

I haven't been able to figure anything out yet. I'm currently on IXWebhosting. I love the amount of space, price point, support, etc that I get. The problem is my site runs very slowly at times. I'm opened mulitple trouble tickets about, and the issue has yet to be answered. I always get a "it looks fast from our end" reply. I want pages to load in a couple of seconds (3-5), not 15-20 or 3-4min as sometimes happens. The faster, the better. I've read that it's better to have the database on the same server as the site over having it on another server, and I've heard it the other way around. I'm not really sure which is better.

Basically, what I want, in order of importance, is:

  1. Fast sever - with a willingness to optimize memory/accelerators/...
  2. at least 1GB space & comparable bandwidth
  3. Good customer support (24/7 support in some form)
  4. web-based control panel
  5. in-expensive
  6. US based? I don't know if that is important to help my speed or not, but it'll definately make paying less of a headache for me

I read a lot of posts saying this or that server is good. Examples would be helpful for me

any free hosting that support drupal?

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '--' at line 1

Apache2 no images, https shows images ?????

I have been working on this problem for quite some time now. I have been reading all sorts of groups but not found a solution.
I have a backup of my site at home that does not show any images. When I call https://localhost/drupal instead of http://localhost/drupal I can see the images, but every single link goes to http:// again, so I can not work like this.
Has anyone run into a similar problen?

need advice

Hi, I am a project manager within the team of Web developers. We want to find new clients (or partners for shared projects). Nevertheless I need a pice of advice. What forums should I go to in order to market our services. I do not mean to be a spammer or to receive bans on my forums activity. Could somebody help me? For better understanding our CV is here http://www.php-mysql-team.com. Feel free to contact me via e-mail: contact@php-mysql-team.com.

Need high-end drupal hosting - expensive is ok

Hi everybody! So I'm setting up drupal at my current ISP, and these dorks can't even get the cron daemon to run correctly. I'm thinking of switching hosts to someone more drupal-friendly. The thing is, this site will probably have a lot of traffic (thousands of visitors per day) and will have some ecommerce functionality. So, uptime, reliability, good/fast support, and performance are very important, but the good news is that I would happily pay a premium to get these things. I've looked over other forum topics and they are mostly about low-cost hosting... so...

yahoo web hosting , where? email out smtp.

error , submit password initial.
Where, email out server smtp , in yahoo web hosting.
