I thought I should let people know that I didn't find this infobit before I installed Drupal and brought it up on Dreamhost recently. The Dreamhost techsupport folks told me that they are running a Wiki for their own services and their installation technote for Drupal was quite helpful in helping my install process go clean. (I had already downloaded Drupal and unzipped the tarball by the time I ran into it.)
When uploading images with image.module, they are saved as user:user with file permissions of 600. Apache is running as nobody and therefore can't serve the images for the webpages. Changing permissions on the files to 644 works, but needs to be done manually after each upload which is no bueno.
Server is running suphp for this site.
I have another site on the same server that is not running suphp and files are saved as nobody:nobody as expected, but with permissions of 644.
I have reseller hosting account and would like to lend custom hosting package to anyone interested for 2$/month. I can have drupal, mambo/joomla, wordpress etc pre-installed if needed.
Hey guys.
Installed Drupal 4.6.3 a couple of months back.
Was working a treat, but I had to move server last week to get proper DNS support.
In my haste, I neglected to check the version of PHP the new server was running.
Consequently, the site is no longer working properly. Search facilites are down and the article module is not working either.

I thought it would be helpful to do a survey of web hosting in Canada to see which ones would best suit the many social mission organization I know who want to use Drupal.
Below is a list of features I hope to compare for each hosting company. Can you suggest any other useful points of comparison?
