Installation

Looking for someone to help me install 2 Drupal into 1 domain.

I am using Cpanel and Fanstatico to install Drupal on my company domain (Full Flash Site). I can do it easily. However, when I wanted to add a 2nd installation for my personal use, both cannot login or access.

Can onlyone help? I can pay small amount of money if required but would appreciate if it can be provided free (if it is easy, if tough then I should pay)

Fatcow Host Does Not Support Spaces in URL's

As you may know, the search module puts a space between the search terms when you want to go to another page of results. For example, "http://www.example.com/search/term1 term2". I this is causeing an Internal Server Error on my host (fatcow). When I asked them about it, I got this responce:

Extreme number of database queries

If I go by Dreamhosts stats for me, yesterday my site, Philly Future (http://www.phillyfuture.org) tallied

7246 database connects, doing 607,236 queries for 5,017 unique users who visited 4,412 pages.

I have caching turned on. I am throttling many of the modules on the site.

600,000 queries for 5000 visitors. That sounds very wrong to me.

domain add-on on drupal sites

Hi

I recently bought another domain name and wish to make it a domain add-on on another drupal site (www.whatever.com/sites/anotherdrupalsite). I have drupal installed in the root dir. The problem is when I use cpanel to add-on another domain, it immediately points to a sub directory... I can't make it to point to www.whatever.com/sites/anotherdrupalsite.

Anyone successfully got around this?

Thanks

Anyone using a VPS?

Still digging into hosting my drupal site (and maybe 1/2 other sites as well), and it is not easy.
Site5 was mentioned (saw some negative reviews about them),
Dreamhost (positive reviews, only negative once about CPU limit exceeding),
Hostingmatters (no bad reviews found -> must be good then)
Opensourcehost (no review found -> must be a good sign)

Now I also came across VPS. Is any member of the drupal environment hosting on a VPS? And if so.... with which company?

greetz,

MJ
