My whole site down after hosting transfer

I am currently moving my site www.wearecion.org to a new host .

I replicated the database and file structure, I modified database.mysql to the new connection string

The mysql and php versions are good but...

I get a "page not found" message (I dont have a 404 page specified in drupal)

I have flushed the cache and turned of clean urls before backing up the database and transporting it.

I have 755 access on the files directory

I need help!

Telus in BC, Canada??

I am in BC, Canada. We have a hosting package with Telus Hosting. The package supports PHP and MySQL. Has anyone got any experience on using Drupal with their hosting services? I am considering using Drupal for a site that requires a number of features.

For those more familiar with Telus Hosting - we have a Business Basic package.

Thanks,
Petre

Drupal hosting: what's a good metric for hosting plans?

I've been wanting to launch a managed Drupal hosting service for a while: you pay a certain monthly/quarterly/yearly fee and get your own shared Drupal installation, with selection of pre-installed modules, themes, and security update and maintenance--you don't worry about anything other than getting your site up and working and creating both content and community.

There's one detail I have not figured out yet: what's a good metric to limit such hosting plans?

Hosting in Italia

Help! Donate Your Brain! (Moving Hosts)

Please... Someone... Please... Help...

I have been having major reliability problems with my host.
I want to move to a new host, one that seems to have much more positive feedback and known reliability.
I have moved all my registered domains from various registrars to GoDaddy.
Unfortuanately their Control Panel is not what I am used to, and am missing the "Fantastico > Install Drupal" quick links...

HOW can I successfully move my Drupal site from > http://hobywa.org < to a whole new server?

(1) Backup the MySQL file
- what are the specifics?; drop the file (save a local copy); done that.

(2) Installing Drupal on GoDaddy, is this possible?

(3) Do I need to have the site hosted elsewhere, and use my $3.95/mo GoDaddy 5 GB Space/250 GB Transfer Bandwidth for my files that will ultimately (hopefully) be Video, Audio, Pictures for an interactive podcasting AtomFilms (pre-Macromedia purchase) meets, iFilm, meets something else.

(3b) Is there a US-based host that has PHP, MySQL, ++Space, ++Bandwidth that is more Drupal-friendly than GoDaddy? That is near equal in price?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so so much. I hope that you can help.

I want to develop a site that is very 'grass roots' oriented about youth leadership, youth perspectives, youth solutions to world problems, etc. The site isn't what I want it to be yet, but soon I'll have more time to dedicate to it. Please help me get over this hurdle right now.

Desperate need for good, powerful hosting – any ideas?

I own a too successful Drupal website (in terms of visitors), that receives around 7000 to 8000 visitors a day.

I’ve been changing from hosting to hosting through the years, but currently I don’t know what to do. This month I already had the site on 2 different host (one VPS and a expensive shared one), but none solved my problem.
