Hosting support

I own a too successful Drupal website (in terms of visitors), that receives around 7000 to 8000 visitors a day.

I’ve been changing from hosting to hosting through the years, but currently I don’t know what to do. This month I already had the site on 2 different host (one VPS and a expensive shared one), but none solved my problem.

I moved my Drupal site from one hoster to another one - I copied the entire drupal-directory, migrated the database (export - import, except for watchdog and cache tables), and updated the default sites-file as well as the general settings (directories, ...).

Everything works with one exception:
I have several blog entries with pictures included in the first few lines of text. These pictures were also shown on the title page before - now they disappeared on the title page, but still work in the blog entry view.

Looking for help to build user authentication against a current MySQL user table. Event better if they could modify that profile from Drupal.
