In a nutshell, Patch Party allows you to find customized software, post bounties, and get support. It's also a place for software developers to publish and maintain open source patches, and offer paid support for their patches.


Why was Patch Party created? Because finding patches isn't an easy task.

1. Do you know exactly where to find a patch for a particular software?
2. Can you find a patch that does what you want?
3. Can you find a patch that works with the current version of the software?
4. Can you find a patch that someone is supporting?

These types of problems are very frustrating for everyone in the open source community, both developers and non-developers.

It's time for a solution! :-)


Patches for any type of open source software are welcome. Right now we're focusing on creating unique services for developers that want to create patches for Drupal modules. In a few months, we hope to roll out similar services for Wordpress developers.

Our current services include:

• Automatically creating a new Drupal demo website for each of your patches.
• Create a Drupal patch by simply choosing the name and version of any module hosted on Drupal.org

I need a mail server (free if possible). I have setup 6 or websites on linode.com and of course have lost all email except google. This is totally BS. Also, need someone who knows how to setup a proper blog. The blog is already setup, just need advanced signup, backgrounds etc. Also need someone to perform server updates as they are required. Are there any thoughts about extending Drupal developers platform to App's for smart-phones?
Maybe this is a double-post, please then point me to the hot-spot of the current discussion.

I like the flexibility of Drupal, and i hope in the future this flexibility can be extended to help developers create Apps for smart-phones (I-family, Android, BlackBerry).

Therefor, i want to suggest the creating of a drupal smart-phone team.

Already have number of drupal sites, but developing blog for users. Need someone to design or implement blog signup form as opposed to normal user signup form requesting username and email address. I will supply form questions to be completed. Any suggestions concerning functionality of site would also be appreciated.

Also need help with profiles of users seeing different text editors. Want contributors to use rich text editor but they only see plain text editor. Administrators though see rich text editor...
