I have an e107 website and would like to shift to drupal. My website is a news plus community website. I would like to convert the news, forum, and users. I have seen some post here regarding this but haven't seen a clear cut as of now, and some post are for the old versions. Kindly help.
I am webmaster of service base website basically Web Development Company. I have very vast experience to work on eCommerce website. Not for developing or designing but to sell products online with help of different market place like ebay and Amazon.
Now, I want to learn Drupal technology to start my own blog. I was searching for such a best platform for CMS like Wordpress, Joomla and many more. But, I am interested in Drupal.
I have a website designed using Drupal (not sure which version). The blog module is installed, as is the comment module. All the permissions are set correctly. However, while the blog tells me that people have commented on the blog, I am unable to get these comments to display. Elsewhere on this forum it is clear other people have had this problem dating from 2007. Some suggested it was related to the web browser. I am using Firefox 4, but I have tried it with IE and there is no difference. Can anyone help? Thanks!
I have been obsessed with getting the page load time of my site to as low as I can. Since drupal+my design use like a gazillion pieces of JS, my site had become pretty heavy and was taking a LOT of time to load. Right now I have been able to decrease the overall page load time significantly and very impressed by the current performance.
Except for one hiccup. Facebook widgets (or as they like to call - social plugins) like the 'Like Box', Activity Feed and Recommendations.
