Will D8 be in C++ ? See http://php.webtutor.pl/en/2011/05/17/drupal-hiphop-for-php-vs-apc-benchmark or will it or just as terribly, through out the window, slow as D7?

I have a Drupal site nearly completed, need help with one issue.

There is one item available for sale through the shopping cart (Ubercart), and 3 dozen others that are for free download, donations accepted (encouraged) via PayPal's donation widget.

Current developer seems unable to integrate these two. It's been over three months, he "still needs to do some research".

how to get into php syntax (see the php) when your look at a view?

I want to see the php output of the code for the view is there a way to view this? I have already enabled php mode but I still don't know how to see the php code.

I want to switch my website into Drupal 8.x. But how? My website URL is www.tinyjewelhouse.com. It is done by another CMS. Please make me clear about it.

We’ve been following what other technologies are up to recently regarding deployment and hosting. Heroku, for Ruby on Rails, is clearly an awesome platform that has surely played an important role in getting RoR a wider acceptance. Lately some other clones for different technologies have appeared and, while some of them address PHP based deployments, there’s still no specific solution that handles Drupal the “right” way.
