Hello,
Drupal n00b here. Did some searching, and didn't find a direct answer. But I see lots of "Can Drupal do this?" posts, so I assume that this is the place to ask...
Here's what I want to do:
Main page of my site, say mydomain.org/ has publicly accessible stuff, mostly general information, announcements, etc. Probably only a couple of people would be able to change anything. Most users would not log in, and would have re-only access.
Hi,
I'm trying to determine if Drupal will meet my needs. A core requirement is a simple calendar module. As my hosting site only offers Drupal 6 via Fantastico I can't use the Calendar module so looking at Events. But every time I try to set to my time zone (NZ) the Drupal system date shows as "12 June 2008" - it should be "20 March 2008". Looking at the "ETC/GMT" zones it seems to work ok up to GMT+9 but is wrong at GMT+10, +11, +12...
I am doing a detailed comparison of Drupal VS other CMS's. Actually, I am trying to evaluate Drupal's versioning capabilities : I mean ability to have different versions of a content at the same time with different status. Se for example what Typo3 can do here or what eZ publish can do here.
I have been doing a lot of in depth research to find out if Drupal will be able to be used for a content and community site. I am a long time user of Drupal, but not an expert on this level of modification. Can anyone give me some help on if Drupal can handle a site similar to http://petsmartbebettertogether.com/
I'm planning a site that will deliver products in the form of customized documents for each customer/order. So, I will need each customer/order to have assigned unique permissions for the documents that fulfill the order(s) for that customer. Ideally, I want to be able to customize a form for each product and feed that into a payment process (could be shopping cart, but I think most customers will order one product at a time).
