I got a new page to build and having worked with Drupal before I think it might just be the system to base everything on. I do know, that it has everything I need for this job, but I would like to ask you experts for your opinion too, to be sure:
Planned is a video community portal. Registered users can upload videos to a set maximum length, people can comment & rate each other's material and so forth - the "usual" functionality you'd expect from a page like this, including selling promotional placement and advertising space.
What I have is the following:
different e-learning courses in MSWord format created by myself.
What I need is the following:
display of different courses
user authorization concept
comment/collaboration on the courses between the participants
comments should be rated and sorted according to the "likes" and "dislikes"
I want to find a person who knows best about Drupal for a start up company?
I am giong with 12 people in a start up company and we are trying to find ways to find a person good with Drupal or Joomla for our website. We can not afford to spend too much right now, so some sort of partnership deal would work out. What is the best way to find a qualified person? Craigslist didn't work out.
I am learning to use Dreamweaver CS3 (not crazy about it) and I also have Drupal. I just got into web designing, I wanted to design a website for my family first (to practice). Then I want to make one for my boss, but I am trying to understand the "proper" steps to take in this evolutionary learning process. The drag and drop method is for the birds! Any suggestions?
