Please I am new in drupal, though with some knowledge in programming and web designing and CMS I was able to use a step-by-step guideline to install drupal in my web server in both my website and my localhost. But right now my most challenge are these:
- How do I right an article and post it to a specific page eg Editorials Page without Assigning a Menu Link to the article, because all this while after writing the content I don't know how to publish it to my desired page.
- How do I customize individual pages in my website to have a look different from others.
Well as the subejct title: Should I use Drupal? for me it isn't easy to choose CMS and mostly because I'm not a web programmer.
I remember once to install Drupal 6 (I found that the installation process was very easy) but I found it hard to use, well everyone would get lost in any new thing!
I've been trying for 4 days now. Both modules and themes. I click on the .tar or the .zip to download them and they seem to start but then fail with no meaningful error message. I've tried this on 3 different computers an on Chrome an IE7. Same exact reult on all of them.
It's hard for me to believe that I'm the only one yet I see no posts here. Also, why can't I find a link to the webmaster/administrator of the drupal.org site? I think this note should go to them, not this forum.
I have been trying for days to figure out a way to get some videos playing off my drupal 7 site. The media module isn't yet ready. I tried mediafront, I managed to load the player, and it saw my two videos but they were blank. Looking into mediaelement, but not sure exactly how to make the player display on the page.
If anyone has figured out how to post video to a drupal 7 site ( without embedding it from an external service such as youtube ) .. please post!
