Hi, I'm trying to find the right platform to build a online service on and I seriously consider Drupal due to the many modules and addons.
But i'd like some (maybe partial) input on the choice.
The platform i'm building is in some aspects similar to sites like basecamphq or podio: users will create and collaborate on the content. And they will have access to different functions and features based on the payment plan they choose.
I've got a Drupal 6.x site with a heavily customized Zen theme. The site is a Project Mercury site if that matters at all.
Need a Facebook Friend Inviter, but can't find one that works. Tried the Facebook Connect module, and not only did it not work, but it white screened my site, and there was no support in the module's open issues area. I had a ticket out there for probably four days, and no one had anything to offer. Bummer.
I have a website that runs on drupal 6 and uses modules like cck, views, location, Gmap and others. The traffic to my site has significantly increased over the last half year which affected the loading speed of the pages. Right now it is hosted on a shared hosting with Godaddy and gets about 2K visitors per month.
Visual Website Optimizer provides A/B testing capabilities, and it promotes a Drupal plugin on their site. Has anyone used it? From what I can find, the developer of that plugin tried to submit his module to drupal.org last year: http://drupal.org/node/759278
Not sure if that module was approved or not. If anyone can share his experience working with VWO and/or the Drupal plugin module, that will be great.
