I've been working with the 6.x-dev version of Drupal and all's well but the flood of notices is not a option for a production site.

Should I:
- wait for the 6.21 release
- revert to 6.20
- turn off the notices in the common.inc of the dev-release
?

Can I check anywhere for a release date of the 6.21 version?

I new to drupal and I wanted to ask since I didn't know where to post this at. What I wanted to do was when I added a page to my web site. Are there options like to add images and files for download to the page. Like I have a menu at the top and one of them I wanted to add some files for downloading.

I'm wondering if there's any intention of making the module search interface at drupal.org more flexible. I'm specifically talking about the list of available modules (titles). If that could be stuck in a View table with sortable columns (with last build/release date), that would be amazing. It's not the biggest deal, but it would be a fantastic way to make sure developers didn't miss the latest releases or dev builds of modules and can adopt/test them as fast as possible. This is especially important in this awkward transition period between Drupal 6 and 7 when tons of hard working maintainers are attempting ports to D7 or trying new things.

Our host is upgrading to PHP 5.3.5 which is forcing us to upgrade to Drupal 7 from 5 (yes, the site is pretty old. I am looking for a bluebreeze style theme to start developing for the upgrade. Bluebreeze 6.x is not compatible.

Right of the bat I want to underline I'm really new to Drupal, therefor I just can't figure this one out. I'm building this website and I would like the language switcher to be visible and working on it. Now I've done the following steps which also created the following problems.

1) Not showing the default language switcher
I went to administrator>Structure>Blocks and added the language switcher to show at the header and saved it. In the setup I selected the different languages I wanted and to which user it should be avaiable (at this moment all). Yet when I reloaded the page, the language switcher wasn't there.
2) Downloaded modules "i18n" and "variables"
Since I got no results I checked with google and it showed this module that seemed recommened even on the drupal webpages. So I downloaded it together with the needed module "variables". After this I figured that I needed to select all the installed items to get in running. Unfortunately there was no change in anything afterwards nor any visible threat of any kind (not even an error being displayed). So I started checking the configurations and played with it for about 3-4 hours and still can't get it to work.
3) Downloaded the module "entity translations"

I am getting way too many emails from Drupal.
How do I unsubscribe from getting notified everytime someone posts in 'issues', 'bugs', etc.?
