Per remarks by Dries at the D4D Boston keynote--it might be good to create a forum on drupal.org for engineers, developers, and designers to discuss the future of Drupal and design issues. The rule of the day being: leave intimidation at the door. Speaking as a designer, it can be very intimidating posting to discussions with developers (I don't know if the same intimidation factor exists in the other direction).

Hello Drupalers!

I have been using Drupal for a few projects before, but I was wondering whether Drupal is the best choice for my next project.
I need to create a community website, based on a virtual trading game. This means I want to allow my members to participate in an online trading game of stocks.

Do you think Drupal is the right framework for this one? Or should I go for something like Ruby on Rails?

Wondering what peoples opinions are about Drupal versus Wordpress, or Joomla? I am not familiar with Droopal and looking into it more. Please give me some info. Thanks.

I am new to Drupal. I think i did install this app once on my computer long time ago , however, i need to start a project so I thought Drupal would be great way to go .

I need to create a site where users can upload their images , Post information about themselves and other attribute about what they do , etc.
I was wondering if there is any module for drupal that can do this .

Ive been using Drupal for years and now with work need to learn Expression Engine. Im interested in the comparison of Drupal and Expression Engine, but purely from a theming point of view (Ive no doubt Drupal is more powerful for development). Does anyone have any insights?

It seems EE does give you more control in the exact html outputted, but is this necessary? I always design my graphics first and Ive always been able to make exactly what I wanted in Drupal (some theme overrides could be easier, but ive got there in the end).

I have a client who requires compliance with ISO27001 for Information Security Management. I came across drupalscout.com and wondered if anyone had used them for this level of compliance?

Of course if there are alternatives to achieving ISO27001 that people have used, I'd appreciate hearing how you went.
