Make library

Hi,
I would like to create online library with free downloadable books.. Just like the Modules section here in Drupal website.
My question is: Which modules do I need in order to create it?

What are the BIG Drupal houses in Australia?

I am trying to gain a further knowledge into the BIG Drupal houses in Australia - I am new to the Australia market and want big project experience - PreviousNext seems to be one of the larger ones but can anyone else suggest any other companies across Australia that specialise in Drupal work

Thanks for your help

Aggregate Functions in Views

I'm wondering if you can share your experience in Aggregate Functions with Views 2 or 3 in Drupal 6 and 7. I see there's a bunch of modules that enable this in Drupal 6 but there isn't any I know in Drupal 7. Additionally, looking into the Views forum itself there are a lot of issues related to this (with many unresolved), so what do you do to achieve this with minimum coding?

If you don't remember, the aggregate functions are the group of mathematical functions that includes SUM(), MAX(), MIN(), COUNT(), AVG(), FIRST(), LAST() used in a SQL argument.

Auto Taxonomy

Hey Drupalites

I was looking for a module that can auto assign the taxonomies of one node to a node created from node reference CCK field. For example, I might have a content type of "Main Games", and a Content type of "Titles". I should be able to create "Main Games 1" with a taxonomy of "Tekken", and then create a node reference (w/auto create), to a "Title 1, 2 and 3" which would all take on the "Tekken" taxonomy.

How big are API changes between Drupal versions?

Hi,

I've seen a lot of discussions about versions in the Drupal community. About Drupal core developers that are porting modules from D6 to D7 and about contributed module developers that are changing their existing modules to work with the new version of Drupal.

I am actually a bit surprised by that. It seems that a new Drupal version implies a lot of work for a lot of people to switch to the new version? Am I right, or have I just been reading the wrong topics?

My question really is: how big are the core API changes between Drupal versions?
