I am trying to learn how to use Drupal and installed version 7.14 on a subdomain (like drupal.xyz.com) using Fantastico on one of my HostGator domains. I have a lot of experience developing WordPress sites and now have a need to use Drupal.
With WordPress I access the development environment using something like xyz.com/wp-admin where the xyz.com is the site seen by the public.
We've been doing more and more App type of development in D7 as opposed to regular websites and one things that keeps coming up is Drupal's default way of handling empty fields, i.e.: not printing them.
Consider the case where you have a record for a company - we'd like to use a consistent layout for Name, address details, contact numbers, social media links and so on. Currently if any of these fields are empty, nothing is printed, which has a knock on effect for the rest of the layout breaks as the other details move up into empty space etc.
If I am not mistaken this is my first post here so to start Hello everyone :-) Will be posting much more in the near future.....I had found a module a month or so ago but didn't download it and I had bookmarked it but no longer can find it. The module allowed pdf files to be displayed in a book format and you could flip the pages like the Ipad does (just for a look or function reference). Anyone have an idea as to what it was named? I am desperate to find it again but have no clue
