I'm new at this and was curious whether I was imagining this or if it may be true.
It seems like none of the modules for Drupal are paid? Is this true overall or am I imagining it?
And to be clear, I'm not talking about themes, or hiring someone to fix some sort of module for you. I mean standard module that you simply have to purchase or pay subscription fee to.
I'm curious if there is a mailing list that announces when a new version of Drupal is available. I see that there is a forum where such things are announced but I could not find a mailing list.
I'm working with 2 companies to deploy our new website powered by Drupal. We are having some legal conflicts and need your advice.
One guy used to work with Company A, and he left that company and moved to Company B. He is the head of coding department. Company A knew it and they threatened us that we may be responsible for future legal issues...
We come to ask Company B about this. They said because Company A works on Drupal 6 and they work on Drupal 7, so there is no relationship between the 2 companies > so we will not face any future legal conflicts.
I've only used Drupal thus far, and I've heard people comparing Drupal to WordPress all the time. "WordPress is easier, but lacks the ability to customize as well as Drupal" variations are all over the forums.
I'm curious if anyone has ever tried Joomla and might be able to make some comparisons of Drupal to them?
