Inline References

This module leverages Popups API in order to provide a form of inline editing for nodereferences on a CCK edit page.

Views cycle

Note: There are way too many modules that do "fancy jquery effects in Views". It's like the textbook case of module duplication. I have therefore decided to deprecate this module in favor of Views Slideshow, which has an order of magnitude more users and a much more active maintainer. I will continue to support bug fixes on the current release, but there will be no new feature development and no Drupal 7 version. All users are recommended to migrate to Views Slideshow, either now or as part of Drupal 7 migrations.

This module provides a Views style plugin for using the jQuery cycle plugin. It is primarily useful for creating image slideshows, but should be usable on any content.

This module relies on the jQuery cycle plugin, which must be downloaded separately from:

http://www.malsup.com/jquery/cycle/

It is loaded via the Libraries module, which is a requirement.

Flashy

This module provides a wrapper for the Flashy video player:

http://code.google.com/p/flashy/

The base module depends on SWFEmbed, and provides an object-oriented API for embedding flash videos in your site. If you have the getID3() module, it will also try to auto-detect the size of the video if you do not specify an explicit size for the player.

The included flashy_filefield and flashy_link modules provide CCK formatters for the filefield and link CCK fields, respectively. That allows you to upload a .flv or other supported file format into a CCK-based node, configure a formatter, and have it "just work" to display the video. Referencing linked 3rd party videos using the link field is also supported. Additional configuration options will be added if there is demand (and if people submit patches!)

Some background and a demo can be found on the Palantir.net site.

This module requires PHP 5.

Transformations

Transformations 6.x-1.0-beta1, "Edit pipeline" form

This module is unmaintained.

Sorry folks. Since I left my previous (Drupal-related) company, I haven't found time to work on this module, and without a strong time commitment I don't believe this is going to go somewhere. The good news is that the number and quality of other import/export modules has increased, so you'll likely find something that suits your needs. (See the next point.) The other good news is that a new module called Rules Transformers takes many of the ideas from this module and sets out to implement them on top of the magnificent Rules module, starting from Drupal 7.x and with an entirely new code base.

Good luck with your quest for the perfect data transformation module!

Upfront note for people researching modules.
There are a multitude of different import and export modules in existence to handle the complex task of getting data from other systems into Drupal. A wiki page has been created in an attempt to focus the efforts of the module developers and provide a handy guide for users looking to make a decision.

Pedal Tracker

When complete, this will be a module allowing users to track their bike (and maybe other) commutes, see how their friends are doing, show carbon footprint numbers, etc.

moshpit

Yet another starting theme with the focus based on minimal number of classes, and easy incorporation of grid systems

The first pre release have been focused on cleaning up output from forms & views
