MC Hammer

MC Hammer is a mail composing tool based on panels.

MC Hammer consists of 2 types of content:

Mail templates

Mail templates are the different available templates for the different type of newsletters. For example: a template for the monthly newsletter, and a template for a newsflash.

Mail templates can be created by site administrators, by selecting the newsletter layout, and adding some optional default content.
For every region, the administrator can select what view modes will be available in the 'different regions, e.g. only 'small' view mode in a sidebar.

The available layouts can easily be created by panel layout plugins, or just overwriting the default newsletter tpl files (one col and two col).

Newsletters

Newsletters are the actual newsletters that will be sent as a mailing. A newsletter is created by entering a name, and selecting the template for this newsletter.
In a second step, MC Hammer allows the editor to construct his newsletter through a clean and stripped version of the panels ui. This makes it easy to use for every editor.

General settings

There are 2 general settings available:

  • Panel categories that are enabled for newsletters => Enable / disable panel categories for the creation of newsletters. Editors that create a newsletter, can only use the categories selected in this setting.

LittleSMS

This module provides integration between the LittleSMS service and the SMS framework
