Can you help please - Statement of security using Drupal required

Has anyone created a statement detailing how secure Drupal is for a client?

We need a summary of how secure Drupal is, as we are considering using it for a multinational well know organisation, for whom security is a big deal. If you can provide any 'official' copy that explains how secure Drupal is, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Following Drupal 7 Development

Introduction

We all know that there are a lot of sites in the web that reports about the great Drupal CMS development. A lot of Drupalers Experts write articles, fill up with regularity the Drupal Planet news container. We have the sites of Dries Buytaert and the new shaped Drupal.com domain and of course the Buytaert's own company: Acquia; all writing about how successfully Drupal is and boosting to the top content management of open source software applications.

Despite the fact that I know and use Drupal from the 4.7 version and did also discover the pleasure to use Wordpress, i never stopped to be a passionate Drupal Fun and continue as from the beginning to consider Drupal on a success course and I'm convinced that with the version 8,

Drupal will be surely become number:

1#

Quote Needed for a Very Odd Custom CCK Field Type

We have a need for a very strange custom CCK Field Type.

A little context:

In this particular implementation, we're managing player statistics for a game, which updates the Drupal db via HTTP. Each set of statistics is a content node with a user ref to the user's account. One of the game's features is the ability to accrue points which can then be "spent" on certain "skills." (The point gains are updated by the game via HTTP as well). At any time, the player can edit their own statistics node to spend the points they've accrued.

Users and roles

Hello,

I am new to Drupal and was wondering whether it could do the following:

Have two types of users, the first one being the 'developer' who can create the second type of user the 'client', they can create as many clients as they wish. The developer should be able to post news and updates to all clients (that they have created) or to just one in particular.

Then when the client logs in they can view a list of all that the developer has posted to them, as a Twitter esque list.

How do i add an upload button with optional descriptors of the file, to a page?

I currently have a site, basic only.

It has a few menus, with a few pages within each menu option.

I only have three users for the site and they require to be able to upload numerous files with descriptions to each of these pages, so that they can be shared between the users and downloaded and ammended when required.

The only way i can find to do this is to create a whole new page and attach one file, under an administrative account, which is not the way i would like and it doesnt allow you to explain what the file is about once uploaded.
