New Content Type : COMPARISON CHART

It would be very useful for Drupal.org to introduce new content type COMPARISON CHART that could provide sistematic way to get a better overview of different options (especially for modules and themes)... I see a lot of such pages with very bad design and nasty tables :-(

New To Drupal ?

Hello,

I know and understand the term CMS and am currently trying to build one for a client myself using PHP for a dating site.

Now I have heard about these CMS applications like Wordpress, Joomla and now Drupal and what I would like to know is are they hard or easy to setup and what is the difference between each one ?

How much knowledge do you need with regard to languages like HTML, PHP, MySQL, CGI ?

I am looking to build a Political Website for myself, ideally as some of the ones created by the american politicians ?

I need to know, if their is a way, I am using Lullbots themed layout. I have created logo that I want to put on my site, is this possible? Is it possible to download the Robots Image, put the logo in and then push the Image back to Drupal Server?

Lightweight, rapid, or spreadsheet-style node creation

I have a time tracking system where each user creates several "time track" entries daily.

This is cumbersome. Creating a time track is heavy effort relative to its value: Create > Time Track, fill out 6 fields, Submit.

How can I speed this up? For example, is there spreadsheet-style node entry, where when you press submit, each row becomes a new node?

How can I allow certain roles to view unpublished content?

Is it possible to allow them to do that without granting editing permissions? If so, how?

Alternatively, is there a way to allow editing permission withOUT offering publishing permission?

Thanks.
