Drupal 7.x

I am new with drupal, and I want to use it for a website. But parts of the site should be in form of a WIKI, and I am not quite sure if drupal is a good idea for it.

I have seen in other postings that there is some kind of WIKI support, as with the module for mediawiki. But how does the integration between drupal and WIKI work. Is it possible to fully integrate it in the site und to use the same users, search possibilites, etc.

I would like to create a content type with a view that will allow users to create and subscribe to an instance of the content type according to their role (og membership) and/or any other criteria.
for example consider the 'Software Project' content type that will be created and set up to get started iff there are two PHP programmers and one OA persons subscribed to the instance, and if there are founders of the amount of 1000$.

Hi All! I was wondering if it is possible to avoid creation of new user (assigning ID) in Drupal before email of given "applicant" is authenticated?

So process would be:
#0 apply for account with email
#1 email sent by Drupal
#2 user gets a link
#3 when link is requested Drupal forwards request to a full user registration form with assigned User ID

I am looking for an exact Facebook clone/replica using Drupal. All the features and capabilities that are currently offered by Facebook in December 2009 must be included. Upon completion of this project, I will be modifying it so that it is unique and not in violation of any copyrights. Please see below for a generalized list of SOME of the functions available today in Facebook.

Since I have requested the use of Drupal as the platform for this project, I want you to use as many contributed modules as possible, with minimal custom code. Since Drupal is open source there is a wide variety of modules to choose from and you must ensure that all work together cohesively. The code should be modular and well-organized and should not contain any encrypted files.

All software must be self contained and no outside services should be required. This project must not rely on any services that require monthly (or other) fees for live video chat or other services. No outside services. No other software to buy.

All rights to this software belong exclusively to me and you will provide 100% of the source code upon completion. You will not be able to sell or share any part of any of this project with anyone else.

Hi,

I've been asked to convert an existing corporation's site to Drupal. Ordinarily, this wouldn't be a problem, though the timeframe does not work for me at the moment. So I need to outsource this work.

The work desired is pretty straightforward, and requires no custom modules, etc.

What needs to be done:

• Install Drupal 6.x/7.x
• Convert existing design (well-organized CSS-based design) to an existing Drupal theme
• Configure taxonomy to represent current site's hierachy
• Add existing content to Drupal (i.e. cut and paste!)
• Add/Configure Front Page Module to achieve existing site's front page design

Their existing static site is well-made, and the firm they had to design it did a fantastic job. The existing site is very simple, and easy to decipher. I would have loved to be able to do it for them since it is so simple, but time is tight.

This would preferably need to be finished and live within two weeks, and that's a generous maximum.

Please let me know if you'd like this project, and a quote on your price and the time to completion. I've told them it should not take more than 15 hours tops if I were to do it myself, so quotes should definitely not exceed that.

Is there a module for limitting search results of drupal core search by date.
