I'm looking for a way to upload an image in a wysiwyg.
In d6 I used wyswiyg/fckeditor/imce, but for a new site I want to use d7 and imce has no d7 version yet.
I read stuff about cck/imagefield and media module being part of core, maybe making imce obsolete?
I'm generally confused which modules can be put together to achieve this.
But in d7 I don't see a way becaus imce is a dead end at the moment.
Can somebody point to a preferred way of how this can be done?
I am looking for a good Database module that will allow me to add new tables and even new fields to existing tables.
Why?
Well I am just in the process of setting up a new site for a club. I want to give anybody the ability to set themselves up with a login for the website. In doing so I would like to collect some specific personal details from them (i.e. Title, Firstname, Surname...etc) and want to make this part of the sign up process to allow me to specifically identify users.
I thought I'd start a place to itemize what to avoid in Drupal 6 that might cause extra headache when it comes time to upgrade our applications to Drupal 7.
I am looking for a Drupal developer to begin work on the project below as well as become a long term partner with me and my client.
Drupal is already installed on our store but needs to be used a CMS on the main site as well. Below is a brief description of the project. If you are interested, I will send the full specs.
Fellow drupallers, I'm really proud to introduce our new Drupal shop! Inovae (www.agenceinovae.com/en) was created a couple of weeks ago in Geneva, Switzerland and is now a three man operation formed by Alexis Dufresne aka patchak, a long time Drupal user and enthousiast, Kian Rieben an anthropological analyst of technology, and a hardcore programmer and longtime member of the community, Aron Novak!Inovae was launched and registered in Geneva, Switzerland, but we are happy to work with any client, anywhere!
Inovae is the result of more than 3 years of active Drupal development, in which period Alexis Dufresne created really strong links with the Drupal community and, amongst other great people, Aron Novak, who is now lead developer over at Inovae!
Having used Drupal for a number of my own websites, I came to the conclusion that much of the work is duplicated, so have been looking at multisite however I believe what I want to do is not covered, and would like confirmation
