Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Most of the issues are in RTBC and needs review state. There isn't any alternative available for this module and last commit was more than 2 years ago. It will be interesting to work all those issues.

dddave CreditAttribution: dddave commentedPlease reach out to the project owner first by creating an issue in the project's issue queue and by reaching out directly.
This has zero influence on my approach to this request but:
seems an odd misrepresentation of the state of the project's issue queue.
(As an aside -because I am noticing it more and more these days-: Anybody can work on any issue without being a (co)-maintainer. In fact doing so makes our job much easier because we can gauge how serious an offer to maintain a project really is. Same goes for the maintainer.)

mqanneh@dddave thanks for replying .. what I meant to say is that there are a lot of opened issues there and nobody is maintaining the module. I needed a similar module for one of my clinets that's why I'm interested init especially that the the last commit was more than 2 years ago.
There is a branch for 8.x which is not ready to use yet, even the admin form isn't being saved or retrieved.
I created an offer to maintain in the project issue queue.

dddave CreditAttribution: dddave commentedWe'll give it a week from the creation of your issue in the issue queue. Judging by https://www.drupal.org/project/block_refresh/issues/2878687#comment-1208... it seems the project owner is gone though.
