Mupload

Overview

Mupload provides a file field (and image field) widget that wraps
a Plupload form element. This means multiple file uploads across
a wide range of browsers. It even supports drag-and-drop.

For a file field (or image field) use the Muploader widget instead of
the default File (or Image) widget.

This module is for Drupal 7 only!

Requirements

A fully configured Plupload module. The developer version is recommended.

Issues

The current version of the Plupload module isn't quite fit for fight. See http://drupal.org/node/1146562 for details. You should apply the patch I've posted over there, or use this version of the module: http://drupal.org/node/1140666#comment-4402928

Installation

Install the module as usual. Nothing will happen, but if you have a file or image field on one of your content types, now you can choose the "Muploader" widget. This will replace the standard one-file-at-a-time button with a fully operational Plupload widget.

Credits

Credits goes to czigor for his "Multiupload Filefield Widget", without
which I would have spend a lot more time figuring out the Drupal 7
file field mechanics.

Limit One

The goal of this project is to add a check box to the edit node type form in order to allow admins to limit a type of content to a single submission by users.

This module is maintained by Ukrainian developers.

This module replicates the "Site Footer" feature from Drupal 6.x for Drupal 7.x websites.

Big Publish Button

This module provides a block that will show on node pages. The block has a button (well, two buttons) for "Publish" and "Un-publish."

When clicked these buttons will not only publish/unpublish the current node but also all nodes referenced by the current node.

This feature is intended to be especially useful for sites based on a "newsletter" or "issues" concept like a magazine. Consider this scenario/recipe:

  • You create two content types: story and issue. The issue has a nodereference field to story nodes.
  • Story and issue nodes default to a not-published state.
  • Contributors create story nodes and an editor creates a new issue node that references stories.
  • Contributors and the editor collaborate on stories to get them ready for publishing
  • Once the issue and stories are ready, the editor wants to publish them all at the same time...but there is no easy tool to achieve this
  • Add the bigpublishbutton.module to the site, and enable the block in a sidebar. Now the editor can click a single button and publish all the nodes at once

Recommended and similar modules

The Fasttoggle module provides a much easier way to publish individual nodes.
