I trying to convert my site into Drupal, but there's a problem: old site has urls like 'newst/news/?id=xx'. But specialchars '?' and '=' are converting into '%3F' and '%3D'.
I saw the issue where was offered a decision, but it doesn't works for me - nothing is changing.
A few years ago, I decided to finally get a CMS for my site (that had a vBulletin forum). Since the drupal forum at the time was a huge downgrade, I decided to go with the vbDrupal fork to get the best of both worlds. Unfortunately, vbDrupal got abandoned several weeks later, and we have been stuck ever since with two dead ends:
I have been searching for a long time now, but I cannot not find any reference on how to select several pieces of content and assign them to a parent Category. Having to list the content, edit, go to a new screen assign it a menu item one by one seems ridiculously laborious procedure for something that should be fairly straight forward.
Example - while I am in the content list screen. I want to select 10 pieces of content and tell them to belong to this Parent Category.
How can i do this? I need a way to manage the menu structure in an easy and time efficient way.
I'm still confused about what exactly a node is. I have a database of car parts. When I migrate them over, they become individual nodes? Is that what is happening? Thanks in advance.
