I am looking for suggestions for using images with drupal 7. The site I am moving to drupal is an art gallery site so there will be lots of thumbnail images which I would like to have enlarge when clicked and maybe display some text which appears and disappears like title and artist when the image is enlarged. I would like these images to be easily inserted as new art is added to the site maybe using a wysiwyg editor. I will displaying the thumbnail images in a table with all the art info too so to be able to edit text and the image would be helpful.
I'm trying to assist our marketing guys in finding some Drupal vendors. I selected version 6.x in this post, but it could be anything beyond 6.x if necessary... But in any event, are there any decent Drupal vendors out there that anyone would feel comfortable suggesting?
Currently we have implemented the Confluence Wiki, it is nice, but I would prefer to convince the upper management to implement Drupal. Does anyone know where I might find a list of Tangible reasons to make this switch, or a comparison of features available with Drupal that are over and above those in a simple Wiki.
I need to convert a site to enable CMS for a computer illiterate client and I'm not sure if Drupal is right for me. My main question is this:
One of the pages is a recipe page. Each recipe needs a title box, ingredients box and method box. The client will want to add new recipes so the old recipes will get pushed further down the page. Is it possible (using blocks or other method) to set it up so that a person completely ignorant of web code can copy a recipe section (containing title, ingredients and method boxes) and put in the new information?
