Converting to Drupal

I am troubling with my site. this show only home page and not even i login to my admin. my site will run on clean urls. i tried http://localhost/mysite/?q=user and http://localhost/mysite/user/ both not working in shows error page not found.
please any on help me out..

I'm a Drupal newbie with very limited PHP coding - apologies for cross-posting.
I'm having some issues with Feeds and how Dates are handled - any help would be appreciated.....

Sytem: Windows XP, Drupal 6.22, XAMP distro with Apache/2.2.17; MYSQL 5.5.8 and PHP 5.3.5 .

Context: I'm setting up a site with 8000+ books listed on it. I want to import the original list from a CSV or Excel file to a custom Node built with CCK fields and I then need to be able to update these nodes with new prices and publication dates on a fairly regular basis.

It looks like the Feeds module is the answer.
When I run the CSV Importer most of the data is imported correctly but about 50% of the 'date' data isn't imported.
I've opened the spreadsheet in LibreOffice and then saved it set to UTF-8, making sure that data in the date column is consistent.
From what I can see it is a formatting issue.
I want to use DD/MM/YYYY formatting as this makes the most sense to my customer base. I've set up the CCK Datefield to that style of formatting and looking at the CSV file it appears in that formatting style as well.
But when the import is finished the Nodes are showing the date field in MM/DD/YYYY format.

Hi every one, i'm quite new to Drupal so please forgive my ignorance. i am tying to add "invite a friend" functionality to the sign up process, and i am using the sign up module to do so. i was please to discover it has the invite a friend functionality built in as part of module, however when I duplicated the site and transfered it to my development site most of the sign up modules disappeared. What could cause this to happen?

We've made the decision to migrate my company's corporate Intranet from its current platform -- .asp and .html pages running on IIS, with NO content management system -- to Drupal/OpenAtrium.

We've set up a sandbox that's now running on WAMP but are soon moving to LAMP (using CenOS, not ubuntu).

I have a website with a generated atom feed of the content and I'm trying to import into into Drupal as nodes...I have tried the feed module but it doesn;t seem to be working as good as it should

I created a content type and I'm trying to map the nodes in the xml to the fields of the content -type. The feed module doesn't have the supported xml tags so I'm wondering if there is any other module that can give me that flexibility
