I was wondering if anyone has developed a tool / script capable of "importing / updating" users from either a CSV or database? I need to migrate about 350 users to a new Drupal based site and a tool like this would be great for users & myself!
I'd like to migrate a few blogs I host at destructonet the easiest way possible. Since Glueblog is pretty ancient and unknown, it doesn't seem like there are many easy options available for convertion of the content, or any documentation, either.
I'd just like to know what my options are, aside from editing the Mysql tables manually. Thanks!
Has anyone figured out a way to export content from a PHP-Nuke site and convert it to Drupal? I'm getting pretty disgusted with PHP-Nuke and I'm considering switching one Nuke site (which was hacked twice in less than a week) to Drupal.
Today, I have been approached to help migrate a Zope based system to Drupal. After removing some superfluous contrib-modules, the main task was to transplant the 660 existing users to the new system. After some hassles it was possible to extract the user data in xml format.
With only minimal effort a script was written and the site had 660 new users.
