Converting to Drupal

Hi friends of Drupal,

is there somewhere a document or some information about the database-structure inside Drupal?

I would like to convert from web-app (http://www.web-app.org) and suppose noone has written a conversion tool yet.

Any bits information are valued! :-)

I'm in the process of migrating a site from pMachine to Drupal. I've had a look and there's currently no real information out there about how people would do such a thing. That's ok, I'm really excited by what Drupal offers and I'm willing to do the hard work myself migrating the content.

I'm happy using MySQL to manipulate the pMachine table data into something suitable to import into Drupal.

Please excuse the distinct smell of clueless newbie.

I have recently installed Drupal 4.6 on my server. The installation went fine and everything seems to be working. I would now like to import approx. 1,200 files into Drupal. About 1,000 of those files were originally Livejournal files. Using the LJ export tool, I have converted those files into XML, one file for every month.

Can i convert completly to drupal from XMb forums ,

that means only the posts and users transfer thats all

I'm trying to get this Drupal site to masquerade as a static site (no community plumbing... yet).

So far it's been an uphill battle. (Although the HTMLArea module is worth the price of admission alone!)

I want to be able to hide node titles, or at least remove the links.

After succesfuly importing a lot of users from xoops, drupal has a problem with auto_increment. I now have about 25.000 users, but drupal keeps adding them with user id 9, 10, 11, etc. I did an "ALTER TABLE users AUTO_INCREMENT 25000" but this does not fix it. Do I need to alter another table as well?
