Provider that takes care of upgrades?

Hi,

I have a small drupal based website. I use hostgo and installed drupal myself. My provider is just fine, but I am getting tired up upgrading my own site. I am thinking about moving the site to wordpress.com just so I am completely removed from the backend details.

Is there a similar drupal provider that takes care of everything? From my limited search it seems there are many people that will host drupal, but you still need to maintain the site yourself once it is installed.

thanks
chad

Good shared host for Drupal that supports Git

I'm looking for a shared hosting provider that supports Git, PHP 5.2.x, and SSH access. I've seen BlueHost and DreamHost, but I don't think I could find information on their exact PHP version or if they support Git.

Thanks

Login problems

Dear members,

I just started learning Drupal. Using windows 7.

I installed a server on my computer with XAMPP, everything worked fine. Until I forgot my password, I auto-saved it and after wanting to preview my site (by logging out) I was locked out.

After googling I stumbled upon this site: http://drupal.org/node/1023428

And after receiving a HASH for the new password and executing it in my database, I'm still locked out. I've tried it a few times and double-checked the HASH-codes.

Uploading drupal site on godaddy hosting

What are the steps to host my drupal site that I finished on godaddy? Here is what I have tried to no avail:

how to test web hosting performance

I'm wondering how to test a web hosting performance (remote).
I need to test performance of my (both) D6 and D7 installations on two different hosts and I wish to have some comparison of those performances.

Tools ? AB (Apache benchmarking tool), Siege, JMeter, Httperf, ping, wget, traceroute?
Best practices?

Any idea?
