Site is not working except home page after migration from Linux to Windows.

Hello,

My site is not working after migration from Linux to Windows server except home page.
I have disabled the clean urls in new server when some pages are working but url I am getting is http://example.com/?q=user not http://example.com/user.
Also I am getting 404 error with some pages after disabling clean urls.

Thanks,
Imran.

Problem to define my root / with a virtual host

Hi everybody,
I am trying to migrate my D7 installation from a shared hosting to a VPS, and before turning the DNS to the new host, I would like to make it work.
Right now, my website is accessible through 77.235.XX.X/~myusername.
Problem : all the link defined from the root (e.g. /mylink) relate to 77.235.XX.X/mylink, instead of 77.235.XX.X/~myusername/mylink.
I have tried several things on my .htaccess, but nothing works. Do you have any idea how I could do?
Thanks very much,
M.

Drupal 7.x and Drupal Commerce Hosting Advice: Managed Vs Self-Managed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Vs CentOS 6.0

I currently have a VPS, which I have been very happy and impressed by, but it has become full. The VPS only permits 10 domains and I need to create a few new projects while also professionalising my processes. My current VPS has used Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and I have root access via SSH.

While I could get a second VPS my thoughts are moving towards a dedicated server.
I am looking for advice on:

Managed Vs Self-Managed
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Vs CentOS 6.0
MariaDB Vs MySQL
Apache Vs lighttpd Vs nginx Vs Cherokee.

In terms of usage I will be hosting Commerce Sites, Hi Res Image Galleries, and HTML5 heavy sites. Every site will have a development version. I also need a mail server (currently using mailchimp).

My skill level is pretty basic. I have used Drush to perform updates and installed things like ruby gems. Whether or not to get the managed I have no clue, I am not sure of the actual requirements, how long it will take to set up or what to put on it. I have found quite a lot of support for Ubuntu and while CentOS seems to be well regarded it seem to have less tutorials available. MariaDB looks like a straight swap in (?). Apache seems to be the most used and referenced but Commerce seem to huge memory hog so may not be the best option.

Shared host panel content not found

We have set up the site in shared host, loading a page from panel is not working with taxonomy term but it works in dedicated server.

xxx.com/issue/!terms is the url, it is set up to show contents using panel based on the term specified. The same is working in dedicated server but not in shared host. It is the same piece of code and db in both the places.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Localization Update error 504, Gateway Timeout, Commerce Kickstart 2.9

Translate with Google

Moin,
I want to invest with Commerce Kickstart the current version a shop.
For this I am now changed from a dual-Advanced (1 & 1) on a Dedicated Managed Server.

So far so good. After some then try the installation went flawlessly.

As a first step I always activate the Localization update module to get around the German's surface.
After some back and forth fortunes of hours telephone and mail, put a 1 & 1 employee, probably by a sg symlink and mess around in the file I10n_update.locale.inc (drupal_set_time_limit (240), 840), run this function.

Now the CK contract expired but including dual advanced despite just about 90MB php memory properly and without that there Drupalsystem had to be drilled somewhere.

The error message is as follows (excerpt from an e-mail, here I had to test CK 2.1 and LU 7.01beta installed):
14.08.2013, 13:10 clock
So with the old version of the update depends on translation even at 27%.
So it must be somewhere on the Serverkonfig.

Error message:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP result code: 504 Debugging information follows. Path: / q = s / batch & render = overlay & id = 5 & op = do status text: Gateway Time-out response text: 504 Gateway Time-out Gateway Time-out The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.
