Hosting support

i have payed for hosting with domain.com but when i try and upgrade my drupal site it gets errors and when i try to go back to the old version it just dosen't work (i've had this problem before and tech support helped a little but it always happens again)
is this just a problem with domain.com? does anyone use the automated drupal setups with other host?

should i just do everything manually? or get a new hosting service?
how do you guys setup your drupal sites? what host do you use?

I have a question about a domain name I want to buy. It is www.peper.nl, and it is already in someone elses hands. The website is offline. The question is; do you know what I can do to reach the owners?

I already contacted the website hosting company (www.prioserve.nl), but they told me they won't provide any information about their clients.

I'am just a user of drupal for our club-site an find following problem using it with internet explorer (IE8).

When I try to add a Photo to an existing Photo-block the internet explorer blocks the download of some file. The upload of more than one picture is not possible. Untill now I always used Firefox without problems. But I have given permission to other people to upload photo's using their own internet browser.

En galère depuis des mois avec différents hébergements mutualisés (1&1 puis Gandi), j'ai décidé d'investir dans un véritable hébergement. J'hésite encore entre le serveur dédié et le VPN, et je suis un peu perdu sur la variété des offres. Je dispose d'un budget assez conséquent, mais j'arrive mal à évaluer mes besoins.
Je peux atteindre à certains moments 50 000 pages vues par jour, mais en général mon serveur ne tient pas la charge et crashe, donc cela pourrait sûrement être plus.

I was wondering if anyone know or would be interested by an integrated github hosting solution.
E.g. you host your Drupal website code in a public/private github repo, and your live website is published as soon as you push a code update. (master branch only of course).

And why not having a separate instance hosted for each of your git branches for testing new stuff and so on.

Anyone know or would be interested by this kind of feature?
